We own the documentation.Your counsel owns the argument.

A compliance programme has three parts: the documentation, the legal interpretation, and the customs filing. We own the first and make the other two faster and cheaper. We do not issue legal opinions and we do not represent you to the authorities.

Where we stop, precisely.

We do Counsel does
Map the supply chain and record what is evidenced at each tier Advise on what the law requires
Collect, extract and organise supplier documentation Interpret enforcement posture and respond to it
Assemble the dossier in the requested format Make the legal argument and manage the proceeding
Maintain the record between events Assess privilege, exposure and liability

When an engagement turns into an active enforcement matter, we work alongside your counsel, not in place of them. If you do not have counsel, we will refer you to firms we work with. No fee changes hands in either direction — the referral runs on reciprocity alone.

How far we can see depends on the corridor.

We are explicit about this up front rather than implying a visibility we do not have.

Infrastructure on the ground

Bangladesh

Our platform is already deployed with manufacturers, so we work from origin-side data directly — supplier records, production data, and traceability captured at source. When a document request goes upstream from us, it often lands with people who already use our software.

Built from records

Everywhere else

For Vietnam, India, Pakistan and other origins, we build the picture from your import and shipment records, public and commercial trade data, and our own tooling. We tell you where the certainty is strong and where it depends on supplier cooperation.

What happens, and what you owe us.

Drill

Nine questions on one of your products.

We pick one style, one season, one supplier — a general question gets a general answer and the exercise dies. We time each answer. Most people score worse than they expect, and that is the point rather than a sales device. The fee is credited in full against a build.

From you: Forty minutes and the person who actually handles supplier documents. Not the person who owns the budget.

Build

The system, in phases, against your real data.

Supplier registry, document capture, gap register, dossier assembly. Each phase ends with something working rather than something described. We integrate with the systems you have rather than asking you to move.

From you: Access to your import records and a named person who can answer questions inside two working days. A build that stalls waiting on client data is the largest delivery risk in this work, and naming it before the contract is the only honest way to manage it.

Run

The record stays current.

Documents refreshed on a cadence, new suppliers absorbed, and a re-check when the government lists move — so you hear it from us rather than from the port.

From you: Notice when your supplier base changes.

What it costs.

Stage Fee
Drill Forty minutes, one product
$4,500 – $6,500 credited in full against a build
Build Scoped after the drill
from $95,000 a floor, not a quote
Run Ongoing maintenance
Quoted with the build

Decision pending — publishing the $95,000 floor is Zeeshan's call. It qualifies out below-floor traffic before it consumes a call, and stops a referring attorney being embarrassed by a number their client did not see coming. The counter-argument is that it anchors before the framing conversation has done its work. Delete the row to hold it back.

Any metal detector can beep.

The question is whether it beeps on the thing you care about and stays quiet on your belt buckle.

Screening tools get judged on how much data they hold. That is the wrong measure. What matters is how often the tool is wrong, in both directions — the supplier it flags that was fine, and the one it cleared that was not.

We test ours against a set of cases where the right answer is already known, and we will tell you how often it misses. Ask the next vendor for the same number.

Do not publish until Fahim confirms we can produce a miss rate on request. A trap we cannot survive ourselves is a trap for us.

San Jose and Dhaka.

A delivery team on the ground at origin

Our engineering and delivery team is in Dhaka. That is why document collection works: requests go to factories from people who already work with them, in their language, in their timezone. It is the reason we can do this at the price we do.

What we do not do with your data

Engagement data does not flow into our products. Your supplier list does not become part of anyone else's dataset, and we do not aggregate across clients. Access is scoped per engagement and logged.
